Sally Hansen Skin Firming Line Pressed Powder with Retinol

Review by stellaluna2: My newest discovery, is hands down, my ultimate HG. This stuff is awesome. I have huge pores that really jack up my complexion and overall appearance. Well, not any more. This stuff makes them practically disappear. I don't think my skin's looked this fresh with makeup on, since highschool. I got it in No Color, but as others have indicated, it has a wee bit of color but it's very light and blends perfectly to even out my complexion. If this product is discontinued, I dunno what I'll do. I'm so paranoid, I'm thinking of stockpiling it. The packaging is quite nifty, it reminds me of fancy Asian twincake compacts. The price is right, but I'd be willing to shell out big time for this wonderful pressed powder.

Review by srobinb: I really like this powder. I usually use it over Covergirl Continuous wear makeup in buff beige. The powder is what they call "No Color", but it does have some color to it(fair, yellow toned). Since I started wearing this product I have actually had several people comment on my "great looking skin", or have said something like, "I love the way you do your makeup." It's silky smoooth, hides flaws, but doesn't cake.

Review by laurilauri: FINALLY, another age-fighting powder. I like Revlon and Maybelline, Clinique, but not HG's of pressed powder for over 40 skin. This is the SILKIEST powder I have ever used. Goes on SO smooth. full coverage. It is NOT translucent so occasional touch up best, maybe use brush instead of puff or. Goes on thick but absorbs into skin relatively quickly. I bought Creamy Natural and Nude which were okay but not best for my skin tones, No Color best. I HATE the container...it is vERY "thick" and big. It has 2 compartments, the mirror is with puff not powder so awkward. But worth the trouble.

Baby Pink Face Powder in Translucent

Review by cperry: This is so similar to MAC's blot powder. It frees my face of shine for a long time. The compact as with all BP products is really cute. I do have to admitt the compact is small, its not the average size of your usual powder. I have this in both the transparent (for winter) and Natural beige for my darker summer days. Will definitely repurchase.

Review by kimmie578: Another great baby pink product! This is similar to MAC's Blot powder, only better. It's truly translucent too. Comes in a pretty small (but portable!) pink compact with a puff. I LOVE this!

Review by franjipany: Baby Pink just recently came out with Face Powders. I got the one that is translucent (I believe they have one that is tinted and might be suitable for LLLs or MMMs...not quite sure). Anyhow, this powder seems pretty similar to MAC Blot powder to me, but doesn't look or feel as chalky on me. It comes in a cute pink compact with a mirror and a puff. There is no scent at all and lasts for a fairly long time on me.

Physicians Formula Retro Glow Face Lace Balancing Face Powder

Review by amystar: This is one of those straightforward products that you really couldn't go wrong with. I bought it at Savon after reading the rave reviews here, and I'm extremely impressed. loose powder tends to be too messy for my taste, but pressed powder on my skin usually comes off as too made-up, so I stuck with a liquid foundation/bronzer/blush routine for a couple years. Only recently did I start realizing my skin was getting oily in the t-zone, and boy am I happy I found this little treasure. Not only is the packaging gorgeous and convenient, the powder minimizes shine WITHOUT imparting any extra colors on your skin, so if you dab on a little of this after bronzer, you won't suddenly become Casper. My faith in Physician's Formula has been temporarily renewed!

Review by shopgirl087: Aww. This is nice. I'm a big fan of Physicians Formula powders ever since I tried Solar Powder, but this too is a winner. I am pretty light (NC20-25) and purchase this in Florence Translucent. This makes midday shine instantly disappear. School's got an interesting idea of the correct temperature, so I often find myself quite overheated and this fixes my face wonderfully. This also minimizes pores, does not get cakey, does not turn colors, and does not feel strange on. Plus it has a puff stored underneath, so I don't have to stick it anyplace else in my bag. Very cute and the vintage container is stylish.

Review by glossgal_01: This was decent. I don't really understand the rave reviews, I bought it because of them and I was disappointed =(. It's not the worst powder in the world, but it only eliminates shine right when I put it on. The shine comes back within a half an hour, and I have normal skin. Plus, I noticed that after using this for a while, it seemed to turn orange. Wouldn't repurchase.
