Origins Eyeshadow (all colors)

Review by GreeneyedGal: I bought this in Grape Crush, a really dark purple. It looks beautiful in the package. But trying to even get it to show up is a hard enough task, let alone the staying power, which was horrible for me. It was also chalky and flaked everywhere. Horrible. I hate the ugly packaging too.

Review by Springncts: I love the feel and look of Origins eyeshadows. I have Gold Dust (a soft, subtle, shimmering gold that makes me think of an Egyptian queen), Sage (a pale shimmery silver-green), and Sparkling Slate (a deep silvery gray with a subtle blue undertone). They are all my favorites.

Review by julie9536: HI, I purchased a multitude of these during my Origins-obsessed days. I love Root Beer Float and Summer Sunset. Otherwise forget it. Stick to cheaper brands - as they are nothing special here. very little product for lots more money.

Bobbi Brown Cognac Metallic

Review by Leelee57: This is one of my favorite shadows by BB. The color is very unique, a brown with red in it. It is also highly pigmented and lasts and lasts. I love this so much, I've worn it every day for the past 3 weeks! I have extremely yellow toned skin and generally do not like shadows that are too warm as they make my skin look dull. This however, is perfect!

Review by cweiss: Cognac is described on the Bobbi Brown website as "shimmering deep plum." I would describe it more as brown with shades of reddish plum. For me, it is quite an unusual shade, and I was definitely surprised when I found it to be very beautiful. I love Bobbi Brown shadows, and I'm pleased to add this one to my collection.

Review by misswillow: Lovely colour. It's more rich chocolate brown with some red undertones to it rather than plum...
Such a nice velvety texture and blends well. I like how you can pop these out (square packaging) and put them into your own custom compact...overall great everyday colour!

Paula's Choice Soft Matte Eyeshadow Trio

Review by fitnessa: I love this product! Generally, I think Paula's eyeshadows are great--beautiful, natural colors, matte, long lasting, versatile. However, I love the convenience of having several eyeshadow colors together--it's faster and definitely more portable. I honestly haven't had any problems with getting the right color on my brush, the way many of the reviewers have. I use Paula's mini travel brush set (the heads of the brushes are full size) and have never had a problem. I adore the Beautiful Basics and Next to Naked trios; both are lovely and easy to use.

Review by JettNY: I have this one in Beautiful Basics, which includes Cream, Smoky Taupe, Charcoal Brown. The eyeshadows are very basic colors, kind of boring, but they do go on smoothly and blend well. My complaint about these is that the eyeshadows are not divided by anything, so I sometimes end up getting powder on my brush from the eyeshadow next to the on I want. However, the price is really good, 9.95. I won't be buying this one again.

Review by IMAproductwhore: I have this in the Next to Naked collection. Very nice colors, blend well, and are buildable for a deeper coloring. The pan is slightly hard to use due to the shadows not having anything to separate the colors - you have to use the right size brush to avoid mixing them. Overall, a nice compact, shadow lasts all day without creasing.
