NARS Rated R Duo

Review by i_darling: A huge disappointment for me. The lime green color makes me look sickly, and the blue is just average for me (I like Stila Azure or Cargo Babylon better). I like daring colors, but these were just a horrible choice.

Review by tambien: Love these eye shadows. I like to use them with my laura mercier eye primer it makes them go on exactly as they are in the packaging. It is nice to use the green on my lids with a white shimmer on my brow bone with the blue as a liner. Overall... very pleased.

Review by labelslut: i was so attracted to the beautiful colors which prompted me to purchase this product! but upon taking it home and trying it on, i was so very disappointed because the shades lacked pigment and were kind of chalky. this is probably one of the worst eyeshadows ive ever tried. the shades are very nice but the quality leaves a lot to be desired!

Paula Dorf Day Dream (Glimmer)

Review by catlover9_9: I never wear brown tones, so I dont know how to describe this. The other reviewer did a pretty good job. It looks like a very cool toned stone brown to me. It certainly isn't a light shade, but it's not too dark. It has a sort of pretty champagne shimmer to it. It would be a nice staple for those who love browns. I don't think it's a popular color (I rarely get requests for the one on my swaplist, so I'm guessing that there's not a big demand for it) which surprises me. Very nicely pigmented and good quality.

Review by amystar: I'm beginning to feel like I'm sounding like a spokesperson or commercial for Paula Dorf because I can't stop raving enough about her e/s. I LOVE this line! If you read my other reviews I go into much more detail about why this is my new HG e/s of all time. Day Dream is just that, a dream of a shadow, a richly pigmented perfect mauve with brown/gray undertones. Earthy with a hint of purple, not too brown, not too purple, just right, a perfect day dream, especially for blue or green eyes. Expensive but worth it.

Review by ciarar: This e/s came in a palette called Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. This is my second favorite colour in the palette (out of 5). It goes on as gray with purple undertones. I think this colour would be great as a base/highlight for a purple smokey eye. It also goes very well with the palette. It is a very pretty, unique colour with a great silky texture. Paula Dorf has definately has a great formula for e/s.

Max Factor Lasting Color Eyeshadow - Aqua FX

Review by Erin: This is a very vibrant shade, a shimmery teal that looks alot like L'oreal OTL in Diva Down. I'd only wear this as an eye liner, it's definitely an intense color. The pigment is wonderful, though.

Review by iberian: Beautiful bright shimmery aqua -- I call it my "mermaid eyeshadow". Great texture -- a creamy, soft powder that lasts quite well. My only complaint with all MF shadows is that the case tends to crack.

Review by jules2064: Very similar to Tilt, only more green w/o the violet, which is probably why it looked so much better on my grey-green eyes. High shimmer, very "creamy" for a powder, and very well pigmented for a DS eye shadow. I use this alot in spring mu looks, and for cyber-goth club crawling ;) I'm hoping these shadows will return after the re-branding, because a few of them have become staples for me. Can't beat the price, would love a sturdier pot.
