BeneFit Velvet Eyeshadow Where There's Smoke

Review by blyss: this is a great e/s. when i swatched it in the store it reminded me a lot of sweet sienna pigment from mac which is my all time favorite! a lot of people are calling this taupe and i guess in some ways it is but i find it more of a pewter color. it is amazing paired with skinny jeans creaseless cream e/s by benefit which i also find to be a pewter color. but whatever color it is it is amazing for smokey eyes and it is good when used to darken the outer corner. i love it! this will more than likely become one of my HG eyeshadows! if it is ever discontinued i will buy back ups!

Review by askewchick: Such an elegant color. I like to use it all over the lid and blended out with a light brown color for an elegant day time appropriate look. Definitely a keeper and love the packaging. The texture and blend-ability is great as well.

Review by Sybil84: This color is very similar to MAC's silver Ring. Its pretty straightforward, a lovely smoky gray with a hint of taupe. Just like most of the benefit velvet shadows, it has a beautiful sheen to it that makes it glimmer without any shimmer or glitter at all. The amount of product you get is amazing, and the pigmentation is smooth and buttery. If you like this shadow, you'll love the whole benefit velvet line, all of them are just as great as this one.

Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Eyeshadow Set-Palette 2

Review by Erin: Bought this for the silver-plum (InStyle featured it for fair skinned, dark haired ppl like me) but this has now become my smoky eye staple. Others have done a great job describing colors. I use the charcoal grey wet with a liner brush for lots of other looks and the champagne looks great on its own.

Review by fuxxy: HG purse palette for me (brunette, hazel-eyed PPP)...everything you need for both a daytime neutral and nighttime smoky eye. Great for travelling light, also. Others have described the colors well...I especially like the smoky lavender, as it reminds me of both Moth Brown and The Real McCoy, two of my favorites. Highly pigmented and excellent quality, as can be expected from KA, as well as a gorgeous and streamlined case. Love.

Review by mriaow: This is a BEAUTIFUL quad - makes me want the other one too :P

Urban Decay Sin Eyeshadow

Review by Graceteix: This is perhaps the only eyeshadow I always go back to. Generally, I get bored with eye shadows quite easily and almost never use up my eye shadows. I have finished 3 pots of Sin already. It is eye brightening, natural looking, buttery, and very flattering for brown eyes, but I would imagine it would be for other eye colors, as well.

Review by nechama22: Shimmery, pretty neutral not quite as bright X, which is my favorite. I love it just the same and will wear it often

Review by kitten75: Oh. My. Gosh. This is the first eyeshadow i have ever boughten from Urban Decay. It is fabulous! The color is perfect. It's so natural but with a little shimmer. It's in my everyday makeup look. It blends and layers perfectly! It hasn't creased on me yet. I've been using a mac paint pot as my base. It's a bit expensive for the size though. It should last awhile. The packaging quality is a plastic replica of a bus token. It isn't the best, but isn't bad. It's a shimmery champagne with pink undertones. If you put a pink creme shadow or even a blush under, it brings out the pink and really makes it shimmer :)
