Urban Decay Strip Eyeshadow

Review by scrapdoll: When I first got this eyeshadow, I expected it to be a little more blue-toned than what I got. It looked similar in the pan to a shade I already owned (Milani Mercury). However, a side by side comparison showed that they are very different. It's a medium/dark silver, and looks amazing with sooo many colors, but especially blues and teals.

Review by biomechmonster: This eyeshaow appears more baby blue with a HINT of silver, not the other way around, but oh well. It goes on smoothly and lasts all day. I would buy more UD eyeshaows in the future based on this purchase.

Review by stellaluna2: I consider this a silver. Deep metallic silver with a slight blue undertone I really really love this one its one of my favorites i use it with mac's electra under the brow bone and strip on the lid and mac's night owl (black) in the crease and to line . its veryy metallic! love it.

NYX Blondie

Review by maribebe: I will join the chorus. I am obsessed with buying gold/taupe eyeshadows. I have a few gold shadows- "Goldie" from Jane, "Evening Aura" from MAC. NYX "Blondie" is hands down the winner in terms of pigment, wearability, and ability to shade with another color. Wear it dry in the daytime as a wash over the lid with a dark brown, ash eye liner; spritz some water on the brush for intense, foil-like gold. Perfect for the fall and winter months or holidays, subtle enough to wear in the summer time. I use this almost everyday.

Review by bossanovaville: This is my first NYX shadow, and I'm impressed. Really great yellow with slight shimmer. This is not a loud, canary yellow, yet not a pastel. Its a warm golden yellow... like a deep mustard color. Nice pigment.

Review by nina: beautiful golden yellow, looks like a pigment i've seen from mac... and i cant remember it was with sundressing anyway its beautiful with light blue and orange and all sorts of colors, did not wash me out im nc15 slightly cool toned so check it out, relatively cheap and nicely packaged!

Clinique Totally Neutral trio

Review by quantumkitten: I'm not crazy about this eye shadow. The colors are nice, but I have shades close to them already. The colors are not as true to tone on my eyes I'd like. All and all I would pass on this, it's not the worst eyeshadow. But if you pay the full price it would never be worth the money.

Review by Sybil84: I was going on a week long business trip and was trying to pack as minimally as possible. I bought this eyeshadow in the hopes of having a neutral set that could work all week, without the need to bring any individual pans of shadows with me as well. I have been using Mac and Lancome shadows so wasn't sure what to expect with the Clinique shadows.
This trio was exactly what I was looking for - a perfectly neutral trio of grey-ish taupe (which was important, I didn't want brown tones) shadows that I could wear everyday. All colours are quite sheer, maybe a touch too sheer even, but it allows you to you create a very subtle look or build up for a smokey eye. There isn't too much shimmer in the shadow either, which makes it very wearable for day.

Review by coolRED: Wow, this makes my blue eyes pop! I love that this trio does not contain any warm tones. The darkest brown/taupe/grey color looks fantastic in the crease or on the lid. I think this would work for both warm and cool tones, hence the name "totally neutral". I will most likely continue to purchase this until the end of my days as this remains my go-to daily e/s palette.
