Laura Mercier Eye Basics- Wheat

Review by julie9536: My HG eye shadow base! Don't use too much though. Just blend a dot over the whole lid with fingers. Apply eye shadow and lasts all day!

Review by vengland: This is the best eye shadow base I have ever tried, and I have tried many. I have a lot of pink discoloration in my eye lids, I never leave the house without putting something on them, because I am very selfconscious of this. I liked MAC paints, but they can be somewhat drying, this product is not. I hope they never discontinue this.

Review by askewchick: I did a test: put regular foundation on one lid and Eye Basics on the other, and by the end of the day there there was hardly a difference. I have yet to be really impressed with anything Laura Mercier sells.

Chanel Shadowlights- Vega

Review by biomechmonster: What a beautiful Taupe! after seeing all the reviews I finally got myself to get this and I have to say I'm very satisfied. I have ao many variations of taupe but none can beat this one cause it seems to effortlessly match my skin tone (asian MMM with reddish/golden/olive tones)which is something very impossible since I have so many tones in my skin. It's sexy if you line your eyes with liner and just smoke with this color cause it doesnt scream trashy or outrageous. It's a very sophisticated color that can be used during the day or evening. I recommend!

Review by Olive143: Love it, love it, love it! This is a perfect everyday shade. The only downside is that it's so darn that if I wear it everyday I'll have to spend more to rebuy!
This is a wonderful silvery taupe color. IMO, it's tons better than Satin Taupe by MAC. The texture of the Chanel e/s is just much better than MAC. Vega also seems easier to blend than Satin Taupe to me.
Vega looks great as a nudish eye, or built up with other complementary colors as a more dramatic eye. This e/s is worth the money!

Review by lorrainer07: What a stunning, multi-tonal, multi-tasking eye shadow. I will repurchase for ever. So versatile - I wear it for day in the crease, lightly, with a shimmery champagne colour like Ylang, and at night on its own, brushed all over the lid and blended into the crease, with smoky powder liner. Soft, silky texture, blends like a dream. And, as other reviewers have noticed, gorgeous on blue and green eyes. For reference, I'm neutral PPP, blue eyes, auburn hair.
Be very careful with these. Mine has shattered. For the price, I would have preferred something more sturdy.

MAC Parrot

Review by pulidobl: while this color would look intimidating to some, let me assure you it's incredible. the color is a rich turquoise, leaning more towards blue, but it is awesome. I usually use it as a liner, but this color makes any eye color just pop. I highly recommend it for someone who has blue green eyes, it makes them shine, believe me, its worth the money

Review by andij: **EDIT Juxt on lid + Parrot on outer V and crease = perfect summer look!** Parrot is Parrot. No other e/s is rich and deep as this one. BUT even if I'm glad to own it, I find it hard to wear it. I'm still working on it to get a decent look. Most of the time, I use it as a liner over a taupe e/s (like Coco pigment) but I wish I could wear it all over lid like I do with Steamy. It doesn't seems to work for me. That's why I'm giving only 3 lippies to such a gorgeous color.

Review by sjcsmall: I love this color it is so flattering and looks so nice and of course easy to put on.
