MAC sunbasque

Review by bastet: love love love this stuff. why did it take me so long to try it?
i love using this as an eyeshadow. and i also use it over my regular blush for a bit of glow. you know, i wouldnt be surprised if i actually hit pan on this one. UPDATE - July 2007. I have used this stuff every single day since i bought it over a year ago. Have definitely hit pan and when the day comes, will repurchase

Review by ooliedonna: For me this is the best MAC blush I have ever used, and there have been many over the years! I am medium/olive, and this gives me a great year-round candlelit, warm glow. It's not quite a bronzer, but adds a hint of sun. Has a slight shimmer that makes me glow...will be using this for as long as MAC makes it!

Review by GreeneyedGal: OMIGOD! have had this for over 3 months and i am in love! it makes me look sunkissed all the time. just a peach glow. when youre feeling blah this is sure to bring a gorgueous color back in your face(:

NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Hot Pink

Review by isabellet: I don't really want to give this a bad review, because it's a good blush, but sometimes a bit difficult to wear, as I have to place it slightly different than my regular blush (which by the way is the same type, just another colour). With my regular blush I can make a very natural cheek colour, and just swipe it over almost the whole cheek, while with this I have to concentrate more on the cheekbone to make it look nice, and also can't bring it as close to the centre of the face as with my regular one. It DOES look nice on me (NC20-25), but I just don't use it as often because it needs a little more work, but it's definitely a good blush - easy to use, nice staying power and brightens the face.

Review by Angeline: This the blush that looks scary on the pan, but if you use the right brush and the right technique, it will looks very pretty on. I've tried to apply this blush with my finger, but that was failed, because my finger took a lot of product, and it was kinda hard to blend using finger. The best for me is using stippling brush. just dab the brush into the pan, just once, then stipple it onto your cheek start from the middle of your cheek-to the apple of your cheek, and move it back and forth. A little goes a long way, and it stays on pretty long lasting (about 12hrs o my cheeks). i would repurchase this blush, but i dont think that i would run out of this, since i only use 1 dab at a time :)

Review by jenss79: I'm super pale, but this looks nice if i use just the tiniest amount. the thing i like about it is that most blushes make me look rashy, but this is cool-toned color so it doesn't resemble rosacea. lol

Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blusher in Rhubarb

Review by cperry: A bit too red and too orange for my Asian American skintone. Medium lasting power. Nothing special.

Review by iberian: Very pretty pinky-peach (more peach than pink). Looks best on warmer complexions. One of Clinique's more interesting and lovely shades IMO (I wish they would come out with some new shades--they have, like, 100 shades of brown, pink-brown, mauve-brown, brown-mauve, and brown-brown!) This is a happy summer blush. Would repurchase if I were, for some reason, limited to Clinique makeup.

Review by kimberpoo: This is a lovely peach color that is perfect for my light brown, NC25 skin. I have been purchasing/wearing this blush for 15 years. I have branched out and wear Swoon, Margin, and Trace Gold from MAC. Yes those are nice blushes, but when I don't have time to think or really contour and go super glam, I know that if I swipe on some Rhubarb I will look fresh, polished, and pulled together. Rhubarb has no spakle or shimmer which is nice when I want to look normal or play up my lips or eyes. The powder forumaltion is soft and easy to blend. This is a true staple por moi.
