Bare Escentuals Blush in Velvet

Review by aguskl: Velvet blush is a coral pink shade with a slight golden shimmer. A little deeper red than tulip. Looks very pretty on and really brightens the face. Super pigmented. Retails for 18 and comes in a large jar with sifter. WIll last forever!

Review by Cordelia: I love this color for the winter- it is so brightening and adds just the right amount of color to my face! It does seem intimidating when you first open it and looks so bright, but use a little and it is wonderful!

Review by bebejacket: This is a bright brick red/coral color - just too much on the orange side for me, looked unnatural on my NC30 lt./med. complexion. I need more rose or pink in this for it to work for me. Would not buy again.

Chanel Les Tissages De Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect

Review by abrilio: Love it! Rose Tweed was everything I had hoped for. I'm neutral/warm, and am leery of rose shades being too cool/blue to work on me. This blush is perfect and very natural looking, and I can use just a swipe or layer more on. And yes, it is gorgeous to look at in the compact. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Review by Erin: This product is fantastic! I am new to Chanel blushes, and this definitely did not disappoint. I bought this in tweed corail (it's a coral-ish peachy red with golden flecks and sparkles are that very magical indeed). the brush it comes with is sufficient to apply onto the cheeks, but as someone mentioned before, it is prickly.
the texture is lumpy, which is different and interesting.
when I wear this blush, it gives me a VERY natural blushing effect that is matte and slightly shimmery (in a nice warm, golden way) at the same time. IMO, you should at least check it out at the counter. all the shades are beautiful.
BTW, i took off one lippie for the ridiculous chanel pricing. :]

Review by iberian: This is actually my first CHANEL Blush. Normally, I don't like chanel blush that much because every time I tried at the counter it seems like the pigment is not good enough for my standard. But this one the pigment is really good and easy to apply with hint of shimmery not too much ( I bought the Corail // orange and pink ). The only complain about this blush is the tweed effect it's just on the top of the pan, once you keep using it the pretty tweed effect will goes away (how sad!) I think they should make to make the tweed effect last for the whole pan. This is a lovely orange pink blush I would recommended. I wish the brush that come with could be a little softer.

Cargo Suede Blush in Montebello

Review by ckgurl714: The suede blushes actually contain more product than the regular blush. The suede contains 12g of product where the regular contains 8.9g. They cost the same which confuses me because usually these fancier blushes costs more than regular ones. Anyway having said that this is a great steal. I agree with the other user that this is rosier and brighter than barbary coast. It is slightly peachy and it gives such a gorgeous glow. Do not swatch this on your hand in the store, try it on your face, because on your hand it looks very very sparkly and shimmery, but on your face it just glows. This is a nice pink blush, I love the texture, and it is very very pigmented. I like how the colour builds underneath the glow, rather than just the shimmer building to make you look all shiny. I'm in love.

Review by munchlaxy: There is no other word for this blush but pretty. Mine is comprised mostly of light pink and beige splashes, with just a few areas with a hot pink colour. It's extremely easy to wear, and brightens up cheeks instantly with a pale rosy pink colour. However, I think this blush is one that will work best for those with lighter skintones. It might not show up if you're darker skinned, or have a strong tan.

Review by kerroppifreak: I really like this blush! It goes on more like a luminizer/highlighter. It's what I wanted Benefit's Dandelion to be. For reference, I'm fair and have pink undertones. This looks super natural on me and imparts such a pretty glow. It really makes skin look refreshed. I use my kabuki brush to apply if I'm just wearing powder foundation and a stippling brush if I'm wearing liquid foundation. The one thing I suggest is not to apply to much; it looks really frosty on me if I over do it when I have liquid foundation on.
