Neostrata Advanced Derm Systems - Microdermabrasion system (radiant)

Review by nechama22: I wanted to try the Olay microdermabrasion kit but it was unavailable at my SDM, so my girls there talked me into Neostrata. What a great line of products! My skin is extremely fair and translucent, but this kit delivers incredibly smooth skin without too much irritation. I only use it about every 1 1/2 weeks and it is fading what I consider to be acne scarring. I've been experimenting with other Neostrata products and so far I'm pretty impressed.

Review by Jaie: Everything that I've ever used from this line I have loved and this one is no exception! Having had actual in-office micro-dermabrasion done, I can honestly say that this is probably the closest an at home product will come. The tiny granules in the "scrub" are very comparable to what is used in the doctors office, and my skin came out feeling similar as well! I am impressed. I don't think that this is neccessarily a replacement for in-office treatments, but it certainly does come close. It would probably work best to supplement professional results. I give it a hearty thumbs-up!

Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Lifting Concentrate

Review by KateN: After reading reviews, I REALLY wanted to like this product. But it did not suit my skin. I am 28 years old with oily/acne-prone skin.
I am hoping to re-try again in the winter when my skin isn't so oily.

Review by mashafromrussia: A brand new product from Shiseido,60 (1 oz). The packaging is elegant and I love the pump. Two pumps and enough product is dispensed to cover face and neck. It plumps up fine lines and I've seen horizontal forehead lines diminish after two weeks. According to the company, this product will reverse wrinkling and also lift the skin - it has both immediate and cumulative results. The research has been published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. It just leaves a beautiful velvety feeling to the skin. It's supposed to go under a moisturizer, but it leaves enough moisture for me that I can go without one. I also use it on the "crows' feet" area with no problem, and great results.

Review by SisleyAus: This gave my skin a nice glow. Plumped up fine lines and didn't clog my pores. My skin looks healthy when I use this product.

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads

Review by diachu21: I really like these. This takes a lot longer than 4 hours to work on me but it does work and prevents scarring from any spots I do get. I use my regular Liz earle cleanser and then I wipe one of these all over my face and neck. I know alot of others have complained about these causing skin dryness.. I have dry skin even prior to when I started using these but I use a good moisturiser for dry skin and I have no problems with dry skin. In fact this has improved my dry skin. So once I have cleansed, I swipe one pad all over my face and neck. I then use the clearasil rapid action treatment cream on any spots or areas I am prone to breakouts. I then use Cetaphil moisturising cream... My skin has never looked better than it does now..

Review by miss_mac: this is one of the best spot treatments i ve ever used im only just in my teens and I started getting spots when I was only 9 and ive tried many products from face masks-faciel washes but non of them worked but my mum bought me this and i saw instint results but for the first week it makes your skin incedibly dry and within 3 days my spots and blemishish were complitely gon but this product has a very strong smell. :)

Review by DawnD: I am not sure why a company can make a claim like they do with this--visibly reducing pimple size and redness in as little as 4 hours? Not even close. I honestly didn't expect the 4 hour miracle, it obviously sounded too good to be true. But I had hoped for some sort of a noticeable difference the next day, which I did not get. Nor the day after that.
They are no better or worse then any other 2% salicylic acid pad I have tried. They sting a bit, the smell is ok. It's an ok product, but I wouldn't repurchase. Their regular salicylic acid pads work the same and for less money, so if I wanted some again, I would just buy those.
