L'Occitane Foaming Rice Cleanser

Review by GonnaBeARockStar: Takes my makeup off, cleanses my skin and does not irritate or leave "dishwasher" clean dryness. I still tone my skin but the main thing is the cotton pad is white, proof it takes off long wear makeup.

Review by wunverdoll: It is a good face wash for me, but it is expensive and didn't help with my oily skin, so i will not repurchase.

Review by iberian: I've gone through 2 bottles of this cleanser so far. It definitely is meant for oily/combination skin. If you have dry skin this is not the cleanser for you.
I have combination acne-prone skin. This cleanser really helped me in the summer months when used with my Clarisonic. It definitely creates enough foam and leave your face feeling clean and fresh. However, with my cheeks being dry compared to my oily T-zone I had to move to a gentler and less drying formula for the winter.
I believe the key to having healthy skin is switching your skincare product as the seasons change since the weather really affects the condition of your skin. I know I definitely am more oily in the summer as opposed to the harsh east coast winter.

Shiseido Elixir Cleansing Foam

Review by mz654: This review is for Elixir Superior Cleansing Foam II. I'm not sure what the name is supposed to mean, but it's probably similar to the original. Anyways, this is the best cleanser I have used. Shiseido products usually work well from me (I'm Asian?). I have sensitive oily skin, with teenage acne, aka what can easily be a mess if not cared for properly. This cleaner leaves my skin balanced, clean, and not stripped dry. It doesn't cause breakouts and doesn't irritate my skin. Since using it my skin has noticeably improved. Overall great cleaner, it's not a miracle worker, your not going to see dramatic results but it's a good staple. Expensive though, but it's my mom's so I can't really complain about the price :)

Review by Newme: I'm using type II. cleanse very well w/o drying!!! It's by far one of the best cleanser I've ever used....It's hard to find a "foam" cleanser that's not drying. It also comes in a huge tube, and as many people know, shiseido cleansers last a long time because it foams up very well w/ just a tiny amount. Love it!

Review by Caligirl42990: Shiseido makes the best foaming cleansers. I came across Elixir that is not available in Europe and decided to give it a try. I have combo sensitive skin that gets oily in the summer. Elixir cleansing foam for normal-oily skin cleanses thoroughly, is non-drying and my skin feels really clean and has a healthy glow. I don't like the Skincare line that came out a couple of years ago, but the Elixir is fabulous, I ordered the moisturizing lotion and will order some essence and eye creams and stock up on this foam cleanser. Although it has a wonderful light flowery fresh scent, my skin did not break out or react, the scent is wonderful. If it only came in a 200ml tube for the same price... Best cleanser for sensitive combo skin, smells nice, packaging very aesthetic and elegant in pink and orange - luxurious!

Cellex-C Betaplex Gentle Cleansing Milk

Review by ninanina: this product is absolutely great! I've decided to try it after realizing that my other scrub cleanser was a bit too harsh on my sensitive skin, definitely a great quality item that I will make sure to keep purchasing!

Review by kat_25: I have volatile skin, to say the least. This cleanser is very calming, cleansing and rejuvenating. I also use Laventine Olive Oil cleanser first, for easy Makeup and sunscreen removal. I am not sure if this cleanser is worth the price, but I have not found anything better yet. Also, it replaced Laventine's discontinued Botanical Gel Cleanser. This is much better than the Botanical cleaner. Less irritating, and more hydrating.

Update: Stopped using, since it was irritating/inflaming any open wound or scratch on my face. Plus it is way too expensive for the amount that I use. I am now using Ellen Lange Mineral Cleanser; which is much more gentle.

Review by ooliedonna: i bought this cleanser after reading the revs here and I m very glad I did. Iam on my second bottle and I still love the way it cleanses without leaving ur skin dry . I love the smell the bottle... everything!!
