Urban Decay Preen

Review by ckgurl714: It's been a while since I posted an MUA review but I feel so positively about this palette, which I've had for about a year, so I decided to post. The packaging is sturdy and gorgeous with its peacock foil. The shadows are my first UD ones, usually I am a loyal MAC shopper. What a great combination these 6 shadows make. The rest of my make up bag is quite neglected. I lived in Africa for 3 months and this was the only cosmetic I took with me, along with Bad Gal in plum. My only complaint is that at 35 years old I feel a bit of an idiot wearing snatch with its giant chunks of glitter, which is tragic because the base colour is gorgeous, almost more loved than my treasured Jest (sorry MAC). Buy it now. The primer potion is, as everyone has said, an epic product and I've converted 2 other people to it.

Review by CherryBlossom03: This palette has the same colurs, but a different packaging design than the Show Pony palette - it is blue with a peacock and not limited edition (as SP is). I am in love!
The colours are so pretty and high quality, and you can mix them to create both crazy and natural looks. I especially like Smog and Toasted, but Painkiller is awesomely pigmented and Snatch is has some cute gold glitterbits. I am a little bit dissapointed in Flash, it is matte-ish and does not match very good with the other colours - but it is usable.
This will not be my last Urban Decay palette!

Review by runty: 100% agree with previous reviewer. Gorgeous colours, very wearable, and you are able to work with all six eyeshadows, for either day or night time looks. Love love love love (!!) smog and toasted, would buy again and again! But because they are so pigmented, it looks like they will last a good while, even though I alternate between smog and toasted on a daily basis. And by the way, if you are like I was when I first got into UD eyeshadows, full of doubts about their quality, that they'll be too glittery, scratchy, or less quality compared to Mac, these colours beat mac to the full, and very smooth, pigmented, blendable and so very easy to work with, except for snatch maybe, which is on the glittery side, but still very workable.

NARS Isolde Duo

Review by funkybabe: I loved the colours in the pan and on my hand and just finished reading Rae Morris makeup book, so figured I needed more orange based eyeshadows to make my blue eyes pop, but annoyingly I hardly wear this.
On my pale skin it looks gorgeous but too dramatic for day - so I only wear it out at night. I use the lighter colour all over my lids and lower smudge line with the darker colour as a liner on the outer top line.
Wouldn't repurchase because I will probably on use it a handful of times a year due to the intense colour on my pale skin.

Review by Bonnie2842: I bought this shadow about 2 years ago and completely forgot about it. i pulled it out the other day looking for something to change up my winter makeup look. Hello! How did I ignore this for 2 years?! This is the most gorgeous bronze and makes my blue eyes POP! I wear it with the south beach multiple on my cheeks and a light dusting of Sertao blush all over my face with Greek holiday lipgloss and its THE BEST summer bronze glow look ever. I love it. I am going to wear it for my engagement photo's in 2 weeks!!

Review by Newme: I have olive skin and Isolde goes pretty well with my skintone. I know there are a lot of bronze and golds out there, but the ones paired together in this duo goes so well together. If you are looking for more bronze/goldish shadows, it wouldn't hurt to try Isolde. Plus, pair it with Beautiful Liar, one of the new lipsticks in the NARS fall collection, together they look beautiful.

Stila Road to Rio

Review by Jennybear: I'm lucky enough to be able to get this trio since it's been discontinued already. All 3 colors are matte orange-brown terracota colors. I love earthy color tones, so I gave this trio 5 lippies.

Review by kat_25: unlike some i LOVE this packaging...these trios are my favorite makeup item ever :) i LOVE the cream color as a base/wash and use the brown for a soft liner. not sure what to make of the orangey shade?

Review by omegakitty: Road to Rio trio contains three matte shades. An ecru/beige highlighter, a matte medium orange shade and a medium to dark chocolate brown shade. (but not totally dark chocolate, more medium toned) Very warm nuetral palette.A little on the plain side for me.
