New York Color grand central station quick dry top coat

Review by Dimitra: This polish essentially does the same job as higher-priced quick-dry topcoats. It's thicker than (i.e. not as liquid as) Essie Good to Go (my favorite topcoat) so I had to glob Grand Central Station on a bit to avoid the brush skipping across the nail. This made my manicure take on a cloudy appearance, so be forewarned.

Review by Stampy_76: Dries your color fast and makes it chip resistant. I think it works better than Essie's Good to Go, especially for the price of under 2. Took one lippie off, because Seche is still my HG for quick dry top coat. But since this is recession, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Review by OutofControl: Great, cheap top coat. Makes my manicures last for 3-4 days even with heavy typing. Dries fast! I love the wide brush, too; reminds me of the OPI pro-wide brushes. Would repurchase again and again.

Rimmel Base Coat and Ridge Filler

Review by Jennybear: I keep repurchasing and pray to God they do not discontinue this. I use it as a nail polish, not as a base coat. The color is milky rose/white. I have nice nails and in combination with this great product they look absolutely stunning. I apply two coats of this polish and it lasts for days.
This is the best nail polish money can buy.
As for the color, you can apply it in the evening and have no trouble matching the clothes with it in the morning because it goes well with anything.
Your nails will receive a lot of compliments, trust me.

Review by blacklittlepig: I have been using this product for about 30 days now. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly. My polish goes on smoothly over this product and it has protected my nails from staining. For 1.99 it is definitely a good buy and is now one of nail care staples.

Review by mashafromrussia: I received this as an extra in a swap. I have been looking for a good, flexible color to wear to work. (Although I love colored nail polish, I hate getting locked into a single shade for several days or a week). I read Amy1712's review below and decided to give this a try. I couldn't agree with her more. This creates the YNBB look I was seeking. Translucent and elegant.

Orly Orlon Basecoat #40064

Review by Angeline: Fantastic basecoat - it does a wonderful job of preventing the color from staining my nails. Color bonds well and it dries quickly. This is a great, cheap BC. I just wish the brush could be a litttttle longer, but as for the product itself, I couldn't ask for better. These things run 5-7 at most drugstores, but you can sometimes find them on sale at Sally's for 3-4.

Review by andij: This basecoat is awesome! It's the only basecoat that I use because my nail lacquer doesn't chip and my nails grow (perhaps, because of the formyldehide?). I stock-pile this basecoat usually keeping 3-4 bottles on hand.
ETA - I'm giving Orly Orlon basecoat a break though as I am using OPI's Nail Envy to see if it will be better than Orly. I bought 3 bottles of OPI and have done 2 manicures with it...So far, so good!
