Wet 'n' Wild lip laquer

Review by labelslut: I have this in 928,
Its a very vibrant pinkish red.
Goes on alot like a slightly thick lip balm,
very moisterizing and VERY pigmented.
Use a light hand or blot would be my advice.
The packaging makes me kind of hate it,
you cant retract the whoel product, the first time I closed it I cut out a chunk of it. :/
Other than that drawback I love this and I plan to get more colors

Review by glossgal_01: New wet n wild lip laquer is not exactly what I think of when one uses the word 'laquer' ,I think heavy .THIS is the oppsite ,kinda MLBB rosey deep pink(I seem to be picking up the same colors, lol).I bought it in the color # 923 in Rapture off the new display (dec 2007).Its very mositurizing and soothing on lips kind of like their pout protectors or neutrogena lip sheers. These were about 1.99 I believe but could be wrong. I would definitely repurchase as there are about 6 other colors or so.

Review by blyss: I bought this in Lustful (925) and love it. When applied lightly it isn't too overpowering-- just a nice berry tint. When applied over gloss or a balm it turns into the creamy dramatic lippy I've been looking for. I'm so glad to have found a lipstick that can be a focal point in a good way. I agree with the previous review about the gross smell and the inconvenient packaging, but it isn't a huge deal to me. Also, I wouldn't recommend applying it with a heavy hand by itself. Otherwise it can look harsh. It's worth playing with and it's most definitely worth the 2.99 I paid for it at walgreens. Despite the few drawbacks, I'm very pleased with the this "laquer"and will be repurchasing.

Wet 'n' Wild 513 - Wizard

Review by bekkbekk1985: I marked 'yes' as I would buy this again, although I don't see me ever really running out of it. I initially purchased this to wear with my Halloween costume (Dark Angel, did all blue m/u) and it worked really well as a violet-based dark blue lipstick. And it lasted for HOURS. I have not yet tried it as a deepener of my other shades (as the other reviewer stated) but I'm very excited to do so. I got this for 59 cents on sale, it usually runs about 99 cents so it's a steal! Fruit-scented and flavored, which is fine, although it did have a bit of waxy odor that I didn't care for. All in all a great lipstick for what I paid, and it did it's job!

Review by andij: Wet and Wild did what MAC didn't even manage to do completely well with their Blue Streak line they had out last year in 2007. MAC's blue was far far to sheer, this is a true dark straight up deep blue. Not sheer, it's not completely matte in color, it has a slightly silverish sheen very vaguely against the light. If you want to collect colors out of the normal mold of nudes, mauves, and pinks, Get this to add to your collection. You won't regret it.

Review by Cristy1970: ladies, especially ladies who prefer cooler colors, don't let the blue in the tube scare you. IMO this isn't meant to be worn straight as lipstick, but rather, over colors to add drama or make them more wearable. i use this over hot pink to turn it from fuschia to magenta, or even more to turn it into boysenberry. over red, you can go from cherry to raspberry to blackberry. Wizard color turns pinks and reds into stunning berry colors, while Black Orchid turns them into wines.

Maybelline Color Sensational - Are You Red-Dy

Review by blueaygi: Love the pop of cherry it has! Although I gotta admit, the color fades slowly over the course of the day but even then it leaves a nice lip stain (:

Review by Jaie: Great color, great texture. I seldom wear it out though so I probably wouldn't purchase again. The brand is great though.

Review by didion0312: I am NW20 with dark brown, almost black hair. I prefer Red Revival...the slightly darker, richer red fits me better. But Are You Red-DY is a very powerful red. Maybe a cherry red? I think of Red Revival as very NYC and Are You Red-Dy as very LA (brighter, flasher). I also think Are You Red-Dy would look great on blondes, where as Red Revival makes me think more brunette. Both reds have a huge color pay off and feel very nice and smooth going on. Not too glossy and not too matte...just rich. If you want a red, but aren't sure where to start...start with Maybelline Color Sensational. It is a very cost effective way to get yourself used to RED.
