The Body Shop Macadamia straightening balm

Review by stellaluna2: I use this along with the Brazil Nut anti frizz product and it works pretty well.
- Smells great, and the scent stays on your hair
- It takes me less time to straighten my hair
- Each pump should supply more product

Review by biomechmonster: This is a great product. I was given a sample in store and bought it based on that. It has a cream texture, pleasant fruit scent. I apply it to damp hair then blow dry. Sometimes I don't even need a flat iron to get smooth results. My hair is medium thickness, wavy, slightly dry and colour treated. It makes my hair smooth and shiny, does not seem to leave build up. I will definitely re-purchase.

Review by jules2064: This stuff is perfection, it is not greasy or heavy and works like a dream. My hair is soft, straight, has body and bounce and my blow dry is really holding....love it!

Kiehls Stylist Series Heat-Protective Silk Straightening Cream

Review by shimmering: I love this product. I never review anything and I rarely buy things twice, but this will forever be in my arsenal. I have very coarse, very thick, curly hair cut short. It makes a dramatic difference in the softness and straightness of my hair. I won't be wiithout out. I could definitely tell the difference when I ran out and hadn't gotten a chance to buy a new tube yet. FYI tube lasted me 6 months + buy this! i did have to layer it with other products for hold, etc, but it's amazing.

Review by Suzy_h: I have long, bushy hair but with very fine, soft strands, so when I saw this product at Nordstrom's I just had to get a sample. I did exactly as the instructions said, applying it to wet hair and blow drying, then using a straightening iron. It DID straighten my slightly wavy hair, but ONLY straighten. It left my hair looking like broom bristles: straight and brittle, and even MORE bushy than usual. Ick.

Review by Dimitra: Hm, this really did nothing for my hair. No added softness, nothing. When I tried applying more product, it only weighed down my hair. As far as being a heat protector, it might be ok, but there are other items out there that have added benefits. I'll stick with Aveda Damage Control. For the record I have long, thick, medium textured hair that's naturally wavy.

Got 2 Be POWDER'ful Volumizing Styling Powder

Review by Jessimau: Great product I only dislike the stickiness it leaves behind.

Review by aguskl: This product has just hit the UK. I tried it recently, and the here's what I thought:
This is kinda hard to apply, it melts into the warmth on your hands and gets sticky before you even apply it sometimes. I find it better to just shake it from the container, to in my hair. I can't help feel it would be better with a wand(?) or hair mascara type brush(?)
Definetly gives volume and hold, BUT will knot your hair like no other, only comes out with a thorough wash.
Tip: Back-comb hair before using this, gives a great look.

Review by isabellet: Wow...I actually have volume in my hair!
I dye my dark brown hair blonde but it's still too slippery at the roots to hold any volume even with sprays or gels or volumizers, and this is the only thing I've ever tried that's actually worked.
I wouldn't want someone to touch my roots while I'm wearing it, but it does its job.
I won't use every day, but it's great for special occasions. I just lightly sprinkle directly on my roots and rub in. BIGASSHAIR ensues.
