Bobbi Brown Copper Penny Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow

Review by belle2216: I say I will buy this product again but it is strictly for those who read this that I classify this ES. In all honesty, I don't think I will run out of it for the rest of my natural life.
If you look at the price of BB ES and compare them v.v. MAC, you will see that they are actually cheaper because of the amount of product you get. I have accumulated a good number and have six of the six pan palettes. These are wonderful to travel with.
But to this color.. ah, it is a color made for warming the eyes. On my eyes it brings out the green/gold stripes. On brown eyes it adds warmth, blue eyes seem bluer and on green eyes it is simply stunning.
I wore this a lot during the summer and it makes for a lovely wash of color on the lids -- with some tightlining you are set.
Don't let the price of BB shadows keep you away -- this is a fantastic product.

Review by catlover9_9: This is a very pretty color --- but it's not copper. Looks nothing like a copper penny. Copper has red/orange undertones, whereas this eyeshadow has yellow undertones - which makes it GOLD. I think the color is very pretty - not metallic at all, just a pretty golden shimmer. But it kind of bugs me that they named it Copper Penny, because it most definitely is not copper. They should have named it Golden Glow, because THAT is what it looks like. Very natural, soft golden glow. In fact it's the prettiest, most flattering, most natural gold eyeshadow I've ever seen ...... but it's not copper. At least not on me. And yes, I purchased this directly from Bobbi Brown's website, so it's authentic. :)

Review by Alexis: This is a lovely golden shadow that provides a great neutral base when applied as a wash of color. Layer it a bit more, and you can highlight the brow bone and the inner corner of your eyes. Perfect!

Mary Kay Eyeshadows

Review by belladoggie00: I have this eye shadow single in Misty Pink. I love this slightly shimmery eye shadow. I use it to high light my cheekbones, brow bones and sometimes I lightly sweep it onto my eye lids for a simple, ready to go look. I love the quality and price. It's worth it. I will buy this again.

Review by scrapdoll: These are great shadows. I use the ones in my Color palette and they're smooth, not chalky and wear for a long time.

Review by LuiLui: This shadow is great. It has a velvety smooth texture and is easy to blend. It has great staying power, and it didn't crease for the 8 hours I had it on. I tried this in Onyx, and the colors were a little softer than I would have liked. The only thing that I don't like about it is the packaging. It sucks. It's about the same size as maybe 4 keys on your keyboard, and the cover slides off to the side. It's a bit nifty at first - until you put it in your makeup bag and it crumbles to pieces. For the packaging quality (or lack thereof) alone, I wouldn't buy this again.

MAC Pigment in Melon

Review by taurusgurl5984: I'm not sure exactly what to say about WHY I love this piggie, I just DO! Its a beautiful corally pinky peachy orangy if that makes any sense! The manner in which you apply it sets the precedence for how it will look, its very versatile (try it on eyes, with clear gloss on lips, etc) and would be flattering on most skintones.

Review by dxgirly: This almost instantly became my favorite eyeshadow as soon as I got it. It is really just the most flattering color: a soft peach gold with lots of sheen. I can wear this alone for a perfectly polished look. It also pairs well with Vanilla Pigment and Amber Lights (Amber Lights, when compared to Melon, has a little more brown in it). It can be used as a cheek highlighter with a peachy blush as well. I could wear this everyday. If you want to try a pigment I would say try this!!! You won't regret it. REDHEADS try this out! (I am a natural redhead). It looks like a red-orange in the jar but its really very soft. Almost like a "bright neutral". There is no red undertones in this AT ALL!

Review by navarre: I'm a fairly pink PPP and this works very well on my cheeks (especially) and eyes. Perfect for summer even though I'm not tan. It shows up as mostly gold and peach (I wouldn't really call it orange) with a little bit of melon. Love this. :)
