NARS Etrusque

Review by AutumnBliss: Perfect shade of light gold with yellow tones but not a heavy yellow toned gold. I love this shade. It can be sheered out to fall into a nude category and can be layered for some 24K action. Used wet it will intensify the shade. Love the shimmering finish. It's beautiful and not tacky like some golds can be. I find is makes a very sophisticated look with just the shadow and some mascara. great on lower lid area and inner corner.

Review by oopsygirl: A totally foolproof gold and a real winner from NARS! This is just such a well-crafted shade and I think this year NARS is going to the next level and getting really intelligent with the creation of new shades. With this I feel the same excitement as when NARS was first launched years ago and the whole line was so exciting. (I also can't stop raving about the uniqueness of the lipstick shade Rouge Basque from the Fall collection) If you could only own one gold eyeshadow, this could be it. It has a buttery and blendable texture, while still being deeply pigmented and intense. It's a metallic pearl without glitter...18-24K gold shade, neutral warm but versatile for most skintones.

Review by spitfireseven: I love love love this eyeshadow, I can get the color on the pan onto my eyes easily with a eyeliner brush, or use a fluffy brush to give it a glitter effect onto my eyes without fallouts on my face.

Giorgio Armani Eye Shadow #6

Review by taurusgurl5984: I adore GA shadows. Very subtle, and that's perfect for my super fair PPP cool-toned skin. I love this in conjunction w/ #12. On me #6 is more of a beautiful soft taupe than a grey. I do see a muted lavander. The texture is fantastic; soft as silk, long wearing (no creasing) and does not dry out.

Review by Viognier: this is a beautiful nudey shade, with a touch of pink and a soft gleam. Great texture and packaging, if a little pricey

Review by AimeeO: The colour of this e/s seems to vary depending on skin tone. My lids are naturally very dark, and my skin is about a Mac C2 (light olive complexion, currently using Tarte Smooth Operator in Veil). On my lids, GA e/s #6 is a muted taupey grey lavendar. A soft, lovely blend of some of my favourite colours. It looks pretty alone as a wash, or paired with e/s #12 (shimmery light pink). I find Armani Smooth Silk eye pencil in #2 (chocolate) looks very pretty with this, along with 1/2 of all my other eyeshadows! Armani e/s are quite expensive at 25 USD, however it is worth it if you love to wear e/s soft as silk on your lids.

Shu Uemura ME Blue 638

Review by funkybabe: I don't wear this color often because I am warm-toned and find it hard to pull off cool-toned blues and teals, but this is a keeper nonetheless. However I tried to pair this with MAC's Steamy and they looked indistinguishable once on!

Review by shelby1123: I received this in a swap, and at the moment it's my favorite shadow. Striking slightly greenish blue, very shimmery and eye-catching. It applies like a dream, very smooth and pigmented. I sometimes tone down the brightness a bit with some white shadow. Somehow it manages to work really well with my coloring without looking too garish; it really makes my dark brown eyes pop. I plan to do a lot of experimenting with this one; I imagine it would make a gorgeous liner. This is my first Shu eyeshadow, and I definitely have my eye on a few others...the quality is unbelievable; it kicks the ass of any other shadow I've tried.

Review by AokiJ: Gorgeous high-shine teal color! Looks like shimmering water both in the pan and on your eyes. I'm a sucker for teals, greens, and blues, and this is no exception. I love it.
