LORAC Croc Palette

Review by angelchan: Wow, I love this palette. The colors are gorgeous. There's a shimmery champagne, a gorgeous rose-gold, a deep bronze, and a matte dark brown, plus a neutral rose-brown blush. They really accentuate my blue eyes, and they're not orange-y at all. Best of all, the colors last all day. I have deep set eyes and my shadow usually creases by midday (particularly shimmery shadows) and these never crease. Plus, the croc holder is very cute and stays shut with good magnets. You just need a brush or two to apply everything. I think this is a great value for the .

Review by kimberpoo: I love, love, love this palette. It's pretty neutral, so it often finds it's way to the bottom of my stash and I'll forget I own it for a week or so, but then when I dig it out, I'm never disappointed. The middle shimmery shade, serenity, is the most gorgeous champagne with gold shimmer shade I have ever seen. To die for! The bronze shimmer e/s shade is perfect for lining my lower rims and makes my golden brown eyes look really green and sparkly. It's amazing. The blush is terra cotta in the pan, but gives a really healthy peachy/tan flush. I would absolutely repurchase this palette, or the items individually if I ever run out.

Review by SisleyAus: Sadly, with all the positive reviews, the shades looked shockingly terrible on me. I've been lurking around reading the reviews for months to make sure it was a good buy and was so excited to get this. I expected champagnes, browns, etc, but instead they look ORANGE on me. I look like I've been through a week with the flu. They make my hazel eyes look small and dull. For reference, I have dark brown hair, pale yellow skin and hazel eyes. The shades are just too orange-toned for me. I've been wearing subtle greens, pinks, purples, blues, etc and can make them all work... this one just doesn't. Too bad!

Stila 2003 Nordstrom Anniversary Palette

Review by cperry: I just received this in a swap, (new) and although I'm not a rabid Stila fan, I have to say this is cute, and the colors work well on me. That's kind of surprising, since I usually completely eshew blue shadows (too much like the '70s for me!) But these kind of meld into a grayish color that is very nice on my PPP complexion. I also used the pink blush as a shadow w/the light blue...kind of made a lavendar when mixed! The cherry lippie is a pretty color on me. As others have said, the plastic tray is a pain.

Review by askewchick: This set is such a great deal! I love the blue shades in the palette. I wear the lightest shade as a wash and the darker shade on my lids blended out to my crease and as a liner. I removed the shadows from the packaging and put them into a three pan. The lightest shade is a light blue shimmer that looks almost white on me. I noticed that the texture of this shadow wasn't as soft as other Stila shades. The darker shade though was the normal Stila e/s texture and blends really well. The Cherry lipglaze complements the rest of the set really well. For the price, this set is an AWESOME deal!!

Review by AutumnBliss: I was so delighted with the good value of this that I would have done anything to make the colours work on me but luckily they did. The eyeshadows are quite messy but give a lovely smoky, grey/purpley/blue when applied carefully. blush is fine - nice. Lipglaze is lovely but doesnt last but for the price you dont mind. Bag is cute.

Bobbi Brown Night Sky Long Wear Eye Palette

Review by joheinous: I have two of these. One at home, and one in a desk drawer at the office. Works well for daily use and touch ups. I use the silver shadow over a primer and under a metallic eyeshadow to enhance the color. I don't have any problem getting the little covers to close- sometimes you do have to push a little hard though. Next time I will probably buy the newer one with just three colors, as it is smaller.
The only serious dislike I have is with all of Bobby Brown's palettes- they are so big and boxy! I wish they could be more streamlined.

Review by pulidobl: Beautiful compact.. I received this as a gift from my mother and was worried that the colors would do much for me since I am a normally natural eye, lots of mascara kind of girl BUT whoa , was I impressed! The colors all blended naturally and beautifully and really made my dark eyes pop. I even rocked the colors during the day and it seemed light enough for the harsh daylight. I plan on applying with a heavier hand when going out for a really dramatic effect. This didn't seem glittery on me at all, just the right amount of shimmer. Love this product!!

Review by dlbd2k06: I bought this because the other one (Moon Rock) was sold out. But I'm glad I got it because the cream shadows and gel eyeliners go perfectly together. The silver cream shadow is particularly easy to use and sparkly. The brush is easy to use. The only problem with the palette is that it's a bit bulky and the caps can be hard to replace. Sometimes you have to try several times to close it properly. But I would definitely buy this again if it were not limited edition.
