Sonia Kashuk Concealer Brush

Review by kjjamm808: this is my second concealer brush, the first is from estee lauder...and i must say, price doesn't always = quality. estee lauder cost me 2X this brush and it works horribly. because i've had acne for ten years, i tend cake that stuff on but this definitely helped me softly laying it (i read somewhere layering is the best technique to creating that natural look.) this brush has finely cut, thick nylon bristles that spread quite nicely...and for that price? wooohoo!

Review by Farra: I bought the white handled version of this brush from Target when I didn't feel like splurging on a MAC brush. I am strictly a MAC brush kinda girl, but just felt like getting an inexpensive concealer brush. This synthetic hairs on this brush are soft and covers areas like my chin well. The only downside to this brush is that I don't find it's great with small blemishes. You'll have to get a smaller brush as this one will just pull concealer off of the area you are trying to cover. But for spots around your nose or under your eyes, I find it works quite well.

Review by Bonnie2842: I am very pleased with this product, but for the wrong reason. I have actually been using it to smudge out eyeliner! I know, completely beating the purpose. But for all of those who don't like this for concealer- try it for a thick dramatic gel liner, or to smudge out harsh edges! I used it for concealing a while ago, and thought it was just average. I like the curves on the handle, and it is very easy to use.

Japonesque Travel Blush Brush

Review by dontblink15: This is a very soft brush. It applies powder beautifully. I bought this brush to carry in my purse. But it doesn't fit into my travel makeup bag. If you like short handle brushes, this brush is perfect for using at home. I prefer using my Sonia K. brush from Target to carry in my purse.

Review by dastac: I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this travel sized blush brush! So far I have two of these blush brushes to alternate between uses. I also prefer the travel sized, because it's much more convenient using these with my petite hands. Because the handles are WAY shorter than the original, the original are TOO long IMHO. After using Japonesque e/s brushes, I had to try them all. This is a super soft and dense powder brush, this picks up just the right amount of pigment, and it blends beautifully. The best thing, unlike the stupid Sonia powder brush, it doesn't shed one bit. Everytime I used the Sonia brush, I had to pick 10-20 hairs off of my face. The Japonesque, I haven't had that problem once. I will buy this again, if anything ever happened to my current brush. *thumbs up*

Review by dxgirly: Let me say first of all that I LOVE the Japonesque brushes overall. The quality is outstanding for the price. My next brush additions are going to be from this line. This brush is soft - almost too soft to do the job. If it just had a bit more hair and was thicker it would be perfect. This may work better for loose or highly pigmented blushes, but for me, I prefer a stiffer brush.

mark lip brush

Review by navarre: I realy like this. Great with the lip pots. I purchased mine when it was on sale (1.99) and wished I had purchased more for stocking stuffers! Kind of stiff at first.

Review by oneofmylies99: This lip brush is top-of-the-line for an amazing price. It is very often on sale for 1.99, but even when it isn't, it is totally worth it. Sooo tiny, but with one little pull it becomes full size. I am definitely gonna stock up to have one for my pocketbook, one for my makeup bag at home, and extras just in case. All my friends want to order multiples as well. The only lip brush you'll ever need.

Review by julie9536: This little brush is well built as a retractable for 5.00 and it has more hairs (so its a little bigger) than many other lip brushes out there. Works great with the De-Luscious Lip Pots from "mark" I really like that the opening is nice and big so lipstick doesn't get all over the outside of it every time it retracts. Only gripe would be how stiff it was when I first got it. Had to really massage it to get the hairs moving...now its just fine though.
