Sisley Botanical Makeup foundation

Review by hersheyb: It's a very 'stubbern' foundation, not easy to blend at all and leaves a lot of dry areas on your face. Didn't like it at all.

Review by askewchick: For me this is just an average foundation, not bad but not among the best...There is definitely something soothing in it, and I believe it could be good for sensitive skins. It is creamy, not too thick, gives medium coverage but the pigments are not light adaptive like in the most of the newest foundations. So, IMO the foundation is a bit oldfashioned and Sisley should improve it.

Review by betsyab: I love Sisley oil-free foundation and got the botanical one (transmat) because my new CdP base spf22 is just too sticky a base for the oil-free version. And as expected, this is as impressive as the oil-free version. Slightly more moisturizing and radiant but still so-up-there status. I found recently that this works great with my CdP pore corrector alone, really fantastic sans oil slick. Highly recommended.
EDIT: I love Sisley foundations but I am loving this ALMOST as much as the Oil-free version. I really think that people should try this brand first before exploring other high end brands. This gives me the coverage that SKII Air Touch and LP Caviar fdn/concealer are trying to pull off but just can't.

Everyday Minerals light medium

Review by moth: I purchased original glo, and I always prefer it since it gives a dewy finish. The shade matches with my skin perfectly. It actually looks better after half an hour or so since there is a little bit of oil on my face then. The coverage is buildable. It is long-lasting and it does not transfer to my clothes or anything like that. I wonder how it will perform in winter.

Review by CherryBlossom03: Why do I keep trying liquids? Every time I do I'm disappointed. I keep thinking that my dry, 50-year-old skin needs a liquid or creme foundation to look nice, but instead, I get a so-so look followed by a breakout.
Never, ever break out using EM foundations. Which is why I keep coming back. This color is the most neutral I can find for my fairish skin. Always happy with the product and will continue to purchase.

Review by pinkiiish: I bought a sample size of this to use for a while in the semi matte formula. The reviewer below who advised to try it if the fairly light and fairly light neutral didn't quite work was spot on. Fairly light, on me was a bit too red/pink, and fairly light neutral had a very weird brownish beige tone to it. Light medium is a great alternative. It's the same depth of shade, but with more of a golden hue, not orange, not beige, not pink... the most natural color I've found for my skin tone from EdM.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder In Pale Yellow

Review by Loriwong: This is the compact form of the loose powder...It's convenient for touch up...Coverage is good and the powder is quite fine...I like the casing mirror becos it's veri big! Overall it's good!

Review by YolandaMC: This is a fabulous powder in a fabulous compact. Yes, it is. I can wear a pink or yellow based powder, and for yellow, you can't beat this stuff. I moisturize, add SS, spot treat with foundation, and then dust some of this stuff on. Niiiiiice. Very nice, actually. Tones down and cancels redness, sheer finish, never gets cakey. There have been times when a good dusting (with Ecotools blush brush) over moisturizer is fine for a laid back day. Again, the yellow doubles as a concealer. However, it IS a powder, and it does its job well. The compact is great - big mirror and a decent size powder cake. Would absolutely buy again.
Still loving this, months later. I have hit pan and plan to repurchase.

Review by quantumkitten: Lovely finish, not cakey or to matte, nice as a finishing powder to cover any oilies. Pale yellow is a wonderful color for my skin. Problem is by the end of the day this product has sunk into my pores making them more noticeable. I use Clinique's pore minimizer as it is, so I can't add a product to make this work for me. Too bad, because it is very nice. It is awfully expensive but I may buy again if someday I find some way to make it work. The finish is that nice - when I first put it on that is.
