Joey New York Pure Pores Finishing Powder

Review by mz654: my favorite pressed powder -- makes my skin look really smooth and poreless. the only thing i don't care too much for is the tacky iridescent case and the cheap powder puff. i feel like a five-year-old playing with fake makeup when i whip this out lol.

Review by fuxxy: I paid 40 Canadian for this product at Sephora. Not bad, but nothing special either. Don't like the packaging...the powders get behind the compact (it's see through)so that it looks messy all the time since you can't clean it. You can find a cheaper powder that works just as well.

Review by AutumnBliss: This is my holy grail powder. I found it at Marshalls for 4.99 and thought why not give it a try. Well, what do you know? It's perfect! It's the perfect finishing touch to making my face look flawless. Great coverage, cute packaging, no breakouts - what's not to love.

Etude Precious Mineral BB Compact

Review by dastac: I regret that I bought a compact as sweet-smelling and cakey as this. My face broke out pretty bad. I had large swelling pimples on my forehead, chin and cheeks. The packaging is also cheap looking that my colleagues commented that i use teeny stuffs while I'm already at my mid twenties.

Review by sleepyone: I have the one in the pink package, it is sheer glowing skin. For dry skin. I only have used it over the sheer glowing bb cream of same line, and so far its the only powder I can wear that doesnt dry out my skin.
It does contain talc so its not a pure mineral powder, but it looks good and not cakey!

Review by cweiss: I have the pink one. It's very light but I would repurchase it in a darker tone because I like the powder. I'm very very pale and use the lightest color available on all foundations but this is too white.

Origins Silk Screen

Review by misswillow: I have been a Aveda dual base user, and been pretty happy with it. The two drawbacks were the very limited color range which meant that I fell between two shades and the fact that my foundation would look somewhat unnatural. I tried Origins silk screen after reading the raves, and find it to be much better. The better color range means that I have found a perfect match, and the foundation looks very natural while giving good coverage. Silk screen is well tolerated by my very sensitive, acne prone, rosacea skin. Also to be noted, I am close to 40 and this powder does not settle in the fine lines around my eyes. Great product and I will definitely buy again.

Review by GreeneyedGal: I have been using this product for a couple years now. Every so often I try other powders but keep coming back to this. It works great for me. Makes my skin look very even and finished. Does not cause break outs. I don't have any problems with it causing dry looking patches like others have experienced. Love it!

Review by blacklittlepig: This is a very silky soft powder that feels unreal. It comes with a thick sponge that applies it beautifully for medium coverage. You can also get a lighter coverage if you use a brush instead. I have normal/dry skin and so far it seems to like it. I'm NC20 and got this in Beige Beauty. I noticed after 7 hours I may need a touch up due to some shine showing through. But other than that I highly recommend.
Edit: Well my face got irritated and dry. I believe there is cornstarch as 2nd ingredient and thats what did it.
