Clientele Picture Perfect Compact Kit

Review by iberian: HOLY GRAIL OF ALL powder foundationS!!!!! Hands down awesome! Light is the perfect match for me.. I'm probably light to medium skin tone with yellow undertones, and have dry skin. That being said this is an excellent powder.. It almost feels creamy...If a powder can feel that way:) I have large pores and acne scaring on my cheeks and this powder totally makes them disappear , and I don't get that heavy powder feel on my face. Never thought with my dry skin I could wear a powder! Tip: I use the Evian mist spray to set this with for a slightly dewy finish. My only complaint.... almost 50 bucks on QVC ( where I bought it) when on the Clientele website it's 35??" I highly recommend:)

Review by Caligirl42990: I bought this foundation based on the stellar reviews here, but unfortunately the foundation made my skin pretty oily. I had to blot a lot more than usual. I bought medium on the advice of the customer service agent. Upon initial application, the foundation actually looked really pink, but after it oxidizes it becomes more natural looking. I am a NC 25-30 and I could get away with the color. I tested it for 4 days and I think it might have given me some new acne so I decided to return it.

Review by Viognier: The Cleintele powder foundation is exceptional.
I am always searching for the perfect foundation and have tried minerals (BE and PUR), liquid (Merle Norman, Chanel)and cream to powder (Mary Kay).
Clientele powder foundation is so easy and the coverage is unbelievable! I don't need concealer. I have combination skin. My daughter has oily skin and she loves the coverage also.
I wear fairly light in BE and in Clientele I wear the light shade. I think it comes in 4 shades.
The only down side is the expense... 35 for a compact.
I get it from QVC so when you add shipping it is a bit pricey.
I do buy it regularly while I search for a foundation that gives me the same result for less .

GloMinerals GloPressed Base

Review by angelchan: VERY expensive at 40, gives great coverage though and a great finish. Not a huge fan of all of the ingredients as they can lead to pore clogging and aren't all natural, but if you aren't concerned about that then it's a nice product. Very Expensive though and it contains nano particles which are very unhealthy for your lungs. Again, if you aren't concerned then go for it.

Review by cloud0204: I absolutely love this MMU. I have tried bare minerals and jane iredale in the past and glominerals is my favorite by far. It took me a day or so to get the application right but once I did it is the perfect coverage. Very easy to go from light coverage to heavy coverage. I have a bit of rosacea on one cheek and this makeup plus the glotherapeutic skin care line has almost made it completely disappear!!

Review by lmharte: I bought this because I was hoping to find a better color match than my JI pressed (in warm silk--it's just too orange, but I really want a "warm" color due to some redness). I got it the GM in Golden light. Pros: the color *is* better for me. Cons: this just seems to make me unbelievably, horrifiably oily. Even if I use JI's absence under it.

Lise Watier Multi-Fini

Review by quantumkitten: I repurchased this three times which says a lot since I'm a product junky who looks forward to hitting pan so I can try something new! I loved it but they told me Sesame was discontinued and none of the other colours work for me. I switched over to Mac Studio Fix. I would say they are very comparable in terms of the great coverage and lasting power. Yes it can get cakey if you layer on too much and I wouldn't bother using the sponge they supply. The best application is with a fluffy powder brush. You have to touch up your t-zone after a couple of hours but when I have time and put some put Make Up Forever High Definition or Elf's High Definition powder over top, I don't get shiny for hours.

Review by scrapdoll: Before I discovered Pur Minerals and other mineral powder foundations, THIS was my go-to powder foundation. I use the colour Sesame to tone down the pink in my skin and love the results it gives. I've never used it wet (apparently, you can though the instructions aren't clear as to whether this gives a more sheer or more heavy/made up look). But I pat it on dry, over my moisturizer and it gives a nice, flawless finish without the whole hit and miss issue I have with blending most liquid foundations, especially in the places where I need coverage the most and the foundations look the worst!

Review by pulidobl: I too have Teint Multi-Fini in Dune and I really like it. Normally, I wear liquid foundation in either Lancome Teint Idole Ultra or MAC Studio Fix Liquid with SPF 15 but when I want something really light-wear almost unnoticeable I always turn to this. It still provides a very nice coverage when applied with my Lise Watier kabuki brush which makes this go on smoothly and gives my completion that highly sought after dewy look... Whenever I wear it I ask myself why I don't wear it more often in place of the liquid formulas which in summer at times can feel heavier. I follow it with an all over bronzer to match my slightly tanned complexion and a little bit of blush and I love how the whole thing comes together.
