Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Compact Foundation ALL

Review by pinktulip: The best mineral foundation you will find in a drugstore, handsdown!!

Review by mashafromrussia: So I don't use this as foundation alone - I put it over my dream smooth mousse to add a little extra staying power to my foundation and to keep my oilies at bay. there are some definite pros and cons to this product though:
pros:
*doesn't oxidize
*really great coverage - doesn't settle into the big pores on my cheeks
*is pretty mattifying
*does not break me out
cons:
*not an amazing color selection (I wish they had some more yellow based tones)
*settles into lines like CRAZY. I have fairly pronounced forehead lines and this just clumps into them, and if I put it under my eyes, lines that I couldn't even see before become immediately visible
so while I do like this product for the most part, there are some mild improvements that would make me like it a lot more.

Review by Bethany09: I LOVE this compact foundation. I've had this product for a while now just never did a review about it. It's very matte and as an acne victim I don't use it by itself and it's just not enough to be by itself. I would buy it again. I just haven't ran out because I don't use it much. My skin is always looking different every day. Sometimes my skin looks best with just a liquid foundation I set and sometimes it looks better with this matte powder foundation on. So it's not a daily product. However when I do use it I absolutely adore the way it goes on so smoothly all over my face balancing my liquid foundation out and overall giving me a flawless look. Keep this in stock Neutrogena!

NARS Powder Foundation

Review by Graceteix: I absolutely hate this foundation which is sad to say because I bought this after much research on this site to find a good powder foundation. I've been using Urban Decay Surreal Mineral Makeup and generally love it but the lightest shade in that is a tad too dark for me since I'm so fair. So I bought this with the good reviews in mind and the shade looked right but I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this. First of all, it makes my skin look so chalky after I first apply it which does often happen with a lot of powder foundations, but with this one it never went away. It made my face look red in some lighting and something in it made me itch. It also made me break out pretty badly after wearing it for only 2 days. I love NARS blush but this stuff is awful for me. Definitely going back to Sephora and getting my 45 back!

Review by lipstik: Pros: the lightest shade is the best color match i have ever had after years of trying pricey foundations. Looks much more natural than LM foundation powder on me. Not oily, not matte, just like healthy skin. UVA/uvb spf
Cons: wish this lasted longer- fades after only a couple of hours. Light to medium coverage
I will keep using and just reapply throughout the day. Looks good even when reapplied.

Review by London84: I have extremely oily skin. Now that I'm 42 yrs old, it is also combination too- I bought this yesterday in Mont Blanc, which is the lightest shade. Seems a little dark for me. My husband says it looks more natural and less ghostlike than the Benefit Get Even in 01 that I've used for years. Lately I thought it looked a little maskey so I decided to try NARS. I think I love it. Love the packaging- maybe next time my compact goes flying, this one won't bust into smitherenes. For the 1st time in years, my face has broken out all over! This is the only thing I've changed, so it's going back to the store. I think I may try Philosophy next.

Paul & Joe Dual Powder Foundation spf 25

Review by Keva: Loved this product. Really good coverage, but it looked completely natural on - in fact flawless, however blotchy my skin was underneath. It looked quite dark in the pan (I got Ivory, the lightest shade), but in fact it was a very good match for my pale-ish, yellow-toned skin. Only one downside: if you drop it, the powder will shatter into fragments :( I bought the powder foundation (pink, not blue) as a replacement - I'm not sure why - but am disappointed with that, as it gives no coverage and is rather drying. Will definitely repurchase this one.

Review by taurusgurl5984: I bought this in shade 04 which was perfect for my NC35 (MAC) skintone. I applied this dry with the sponge applicator that came with it. The coverage is medium to full. It felt a bit heavy and caked on my face, but maybe somebody else would prefer that. It's a bit drying on me as well and I have combination skin. I guess the only good thing is the cute white compact that it comes in :(
I definitely was not in love with this enough to keep it laying around so it goes back to store!!
I definitely prefer MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powder (in Medium Plus) or Studio Fix (in C3) over this.
