Revlon Pink in the Afternoon

Review by Stampy_76: I have a hard time finding lipsticks that I actually love, but this is definitely one of them. This is the perfect muted, medium, non frosty pink for my pigmented lips that doesn't wash me out. As another reviewer mentioned, looks even more amazing with a tan.

Review by belladoggie00: I love this lipstick. It's smooth, creamy, and a nice, natural, colour. Has a nice smooth and shiny finish. Much better than the matte lipsticks from Revlon.

Review by ninanina: Too cool for my yellow toned Chinese skintone (NARS SG Fiji/Vitalumiere Aqua B20/EL DW Desert Beige).

I also found that this settled into the cracks and flakes of my lips more much than the Colorburst lipsticks (but was this due to formula or mismatch of shade?), which made it stick out even more.

I agree that it's a lovely pink however and would probably suit a lot of other people, but not me - in fact it's probably all pinks that don't suit me sadly.

Christian Dior Addict Lipstick in Positive Red

Review by franjipany: I am just getting into Dior lipsticks. I tried Positive Red as part of my eternal search for a red I can wear. This isn't it. It looks garish on me no matter what I do. I tried dabbing it on as a stain and toning it down with a gloss in a lighter color, and still looked like Bozo the Clown. So I took it back to Sephora and exchanged it for Sparkling Violet, which works for me. (I am a LLL with yellowish-tones in my skin - Prescriptives "Champagne" - and pink-lavender tones in my lip pigmentation!)
So far my favorite red (for the record) is Vincent Longo's Lipstain in Cherry.

Review by DawnD: I love this red. It's classy, elegant, and makes my face look alive rather than washed out as most red lipsticks do. I had heard about the "significant" lead content, but honestly I'm not using the color everyday nor do I think 0.21 parts per million is going to be detrimental to my health (certainly not more detrimental than drinking eight glasses of water a day for all the years of my life). Do you really think 1 lead particle in 4,761,904.76 particles is going to lead to a reduced IQ? Don't take my word for it, I'm just a chemical engineer so what would I know. =]

Review by Keva: An orangey red with a fine gold shimmer and a strong but not unpleasant smell (much weaker scent than Clarins Passion 350!). Smooth, luxurious, but too orange for me.

Bobbi Brown SPF15 Lip Shine

Review by stellaluna2: BB's Mauve lipshine is my staple lippy, taking me through work and sometimes into the evening too. It's a great colour on super-fair skinned girlies, as it looks very natural and really makes blue eyes pop. The texture is wonderful too - light, smooth, and not the slightest bit cakey.

Review by lorraine07: I have a number of these in some of my BB lip palettes and a full size of Fig. Wonderful texture and the colors are nicely pigmented. They are glossy looking but not overly so.

Review by Capprii: I love my BB Lipshine in Cocoa. It smells good and has an SPF of 15. It goes on smooth and lasts all day. These are sheer and emollient. Great for touch-ups. Tip- Use with a lipliner to really bring out the color.
