Stila Eye Shadow- Brick

Review by pretty_please: A warm medium brown. Kind of the color of terra cotta, to me. As with other Stila shadows, the quality is superb. I had a hard time getting this to work at first, but now I love it!

Review by coolRED: I have Brick in my Holiday 6-Pan. It's a matte, well, brick shade! Very pretty in the crease and since I'm a redhead, I found this to work well as a brow definer as well (since Stila only makes one shade of brow definer!). :-)

Review by sleepyone: A pretty matte, reddish brown shade. I used it as a lid color and it helped bring out the green in my eyes.

Pout Miss Barbados

Review by sophie_tan: The packaging is pretty cute, I'll give you that, but it doesn't hold up every well - it's just cardboard. It shows wear and tear pretty quickly. Sometimes cardboard works OK - I think Stila's is generally fine (except the lipstick packaging). Something about this one just doesn't do it for me.
That being said... the product itself is very nice. The lighter color is a very pretty, subtle base and the darker one is perfect for outer corners and in the crease. They blend really well together. There's just a bit of shimmer, but not so much that you couldn't wear it in a professional environment (think Urban Decay). Definitely shimmer, not glitter.
I look forward to buying Miss Scotland and Miss March!

Review by cgosyne: No question about it....I have fallen in love with Pout eyeshadows! I've been a MAC devotee for some time and was recently forced to search for a different line after having problems with MAC irritating my eyes. I decided to try Pout after seeing such great reviews for their Pout Rouge.
Inside the turquoise, girly-girl compact houses two highly pigmented, complementary shades with a shimmer finish, caramel pearl and hot chocolate. No guesswork required here....the shades look lovely together and equally pleasing when used alone. After a full day, my lids still showed no creasing and the color was just as vibrant as when I first applied it. And at 18 a duo, you can afford to buy all of 20+ color combos available.
If you do one thing for yourself this year, make sure to check out Pout.

Review by stellaluna2: I really like this duo. I have three Pout duos now, and the texture is consistently brilliant - really smooth and blendable, and never gritty. I also adore the packaging, although it does have an annoying tendency to snap shut when I'm in the middle of applying my eyeshadow.

I especially love the lighter, champagney shade in this duo. True, it is quite a generic shade, but I really think it is spot on in terms of shimmer and pigmentation. It is just lovely as a lid wash. The second shade I would describe as a reddish-brown. It is nice as a crease shade, but do beware of the red undertones here. If I over-apply, I start to look ill. It's nicest if you blend it in using a very soft and fluffy brush (e.g. MAC 217), and don't try to wear it all over the lid if you have pale skin.

Wet 'n' Wild Sensual Sage

Review by francesca39: Wow, I'm SO impressed! This is a gorgeous mossy-gray-green color, shimmery not matte. Nice pigmentation! Much better than CG or Loreal eyeshadows. Looks great on my NC30 Asian skin. Definite repurchase, but I wish WNW would make more colors though - I checked out the other WNW colors (there seemed to be only 6 or so) but didn't like the selection (they had a nice looking taupe, but I only have about 5 other taupe e/s, so I didn't buy) so I haven't bought any others yet.

Review by suze9_8: This color didn't work at all for me (ppp, cool), and I tried it many different ways. As a wash, a liner of sorts... nada. I always ended up looking like death, though I really wanted to like it. My other complaint would be about pigment quality- I simply don't feel that it's as good as Milani (another ds cheapie). So I'm out .99... no big deal.

Review by GonnaBeARockStar: Green.
After buying Revlon's Matte Eyeshadow in Lucious Lime and having my bubble burst, I needed a new green eyeshadow. I picked this up at k-mart for 2 and was surprised of the pigmentation in this little thing. Its a light sage green with some gold undertones and a bit florescent. Its great to have in your collection, shows up well on my skin, not sure about staying power because I dont wear this out of the house that much.
