Sally Hansen Natural Beauty inspired by Carmindy Sun Glow Powder Bronzer in Spring

Review by miss_mac: FABULOUS! I'm pale and pasty white and I avoid the sun like the Swine Flu, but this makes me look like I just had a great weekend at the beach...NO orangey look, just a natural, glowey, gorgeous complexion. I'm so fair that I could skip the blush after this, but I usually hit the apples of my cheeks with a little blush anyway. I LOVE this product. One warning...this is my second one...the first one I had for 2 days and the whole thing cracked and exploded....luckily Duane Reade exchanged it for me.

Review by oopsygirl: This bronzer is terrific! The pretty sunflower design is actually a smart layout. The pink blush-y strip divides a shimmer portion from a matte portion, so you can control your level of "glow." Very versatile. This is nice and silky and pigmented going on. So pigmented that at first I applied a wee bit too much and it looked a bit orangey. When applied with discretion it looks very natural--the healthy sunkissed look I am always trying to achieve. I have fair skin and this looked pretty believable on me. Quite possibly the best bronzer going at the drugstore these days! I think I paid 12 at CVS.

Review by KateN: I picked up this bronzer after buying Carmindy's foundation (see my other review) a few months ago. Since I hadn't gotten outside as much earlier this year, I was feeling very pale. This bronzer really helped without looking too Jersey Shore. I don't mind the sparkles, in face, I hadn't even really noticed them until I read the reviews for this product today.
I haven't used the little applicator brush in the container. I just use one of my big blusher brushes.
The color works well over Carmindy's foundation and I like the amount of coverage. I haven't had any skin issues (but I do keep my brushes ultra clean and throw out old make up religiously.)
I don't recall the price, but I do remember that I bought it during a buy-one-get-one sale so either the foundation or the bronzer was free.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess

Review by blueaygi: This is a really nice powder bronzer. It's not HG status for me, but this and MAC's Golden/Golden Refined are the closest I've come to HG in a bronzer, and I've tried alot!! I love how the compact is big, which means i can easily dip my bronzer brush in it and get an even application. This also lasts me a really long time, so although it's pricy, you only need to use a bit. My only problem is I need to use a light hand w/ this. I've gone overboard a couple of times and look like an orange oompa loompa. If used w/ a light hand though, this gives me a bit of gorgeous color to my otherwise pale skin. I would definitely repurchase this, as I'm already on my second compact!

Review by Chloeclover: I was given a trial size of this, and still have a good bit left since I don't use it all the time. I really like it alot. It looks really natural on my fair skin even though it looks pretty dark in the pan.

Review by redheadjane: I just bought my second of these bronzers, the first one is getting low and I don't want to run out! I have the soft matte, and I find that it suits my skin well. I went in to see the SA, as I questioned whether this would be too dark for my non-tan-extremely pale skin. She showed me how to put it on, without looking like I have a bronzer on. I have the big kabuki style brush from EL that I put this on with in the am, and will use the brush that they include for touch ups throughout the day. Overall, I would say that this is a great bronzer. I love the HUGE packaging, and the color looks natural on me. I like that there are no huge chunks of shimmer and glitter on me, as I don't like that look for myself. Will continue to repurchase!

Nuxe Poudre Eclat Prodigieux-Bronzing Powder

Review by sleepyone: Unfortunately this bronzer is a bit red on the skin and seems to have no staying power. For me there are much better bronzers for my complexion.

Review by Jaie: I use this Nuxe bronzing powder in the spring and summer and use my Bobbi Brown bronzer in the fall/winter because there is no shimmer and looks better on my complexion. Before Nuxe, I used Lancome bronzer which isn't bad either, but I really like the Nuxe alittle better. I think it's expensive, but it'll last me a really long time. Will buy again.

Review by rebec75: Fabulous bronzer! I have a bronzer addiction and I've tried A LOT of bronzers. I must say that this is one of the best (for me) that I've tried. I find some bronzers are too orange, red, or muddy..but this is just perfect. It looks scary, dark and red toned in the pan but it actually applies sheer, yet build-able. This bronzer has the right balance of brown and rosiness to create a believable sun kissed glow in my yellow undertone NC25-30 ish skin tone. Not to mention it comes in a pretty gold tone package with a lovely mirror and it's HUGE to boot so easy to swirl a big fluffy brush into. Definitely a lot of bang for the buck (25g for 36 usd). Overall I love this and hope it doesn't every get discontinued!!!!
