3 recommended hair products ,let's see how good they really are!

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Crystal Clear Hairspray

Review by stellaluna2: This stuff is NOT for me. Cannot tolerate the smell, leaves hair crunchy/tacky if I use anything more than the slightest whisper of a mist, and makes my scalp itch. I did notice it gave my hair a little extra shine, but there are too many deal-breakers to consider that an adequate 'plus'.

Review by Lyssa2676: I like this product alot..it holds well but is flexible..and it smells nice..gives hair a nice shine too..will re-purchase.

Review by island_honey: My favorite hairspray! Doesn't leave a film on my hair, gives it just enough hold, and it doesn't dull my blonde hair like most hairsprays do. No yucky fragrance either!

Rusk W8less Plus Hairspray

Review by marsqurine: I picked this hair spray up at Marshalls for 5 bucks, what a steal. I hadn't read the great reviews I just needed hair spray. I curled my hair with a 1.5 inch barrel 2 days ago and my curls are still in, mind you I have straight hair. Not slick straight but def. not even wavy.

Review by Suzy_h: I like this hairspray, but I have to use so much to get my hair to hold - and then it turns into this crusty mess. I do like this better than most hairsprays because it is so easy to comb out. I use this with W8Less (see my review), but I will be looking for another cheaper hairspray. I go through a can of the w8less and w8less plus once every month or month and a half. I will buy this again in the future, but not in the near future.

Review by misswillow: Wow! I can't believe I actually found a hairspray that surpasses my beloved John Frieda Moisture Barrier Hairspray... but I did!! I should mention, that as a curly girl, I do not use hairspray in a very traditional manner. I actually apply my mousse or gel of the day and then give my hair a spritz of hairspray while it is still damp. This allows my hair to dry with a good, humidity resistant hold... yet, still maintain a soft, shiny feel. W8less Plus can be used on wet or dry hair and has the "signature" Rusk scent (ala cK One). It leaves my curls bouncy and full, smelling great, and ultra shiny! Best of all, it truly beats the South FL humidity!! Highly recommended!

Ardell UnRed

Review by bunnyrabbit: If you want to drab warm tones from light brown to blond colors (or highlights) then this is the way to go. But if you have hair that is darker than light brown, then forget it. This will just add a purplish tint to your warm hair. Otherwise this is a great product, I took off a lippie because they need to put that information on their package. Anybody who has been to hair school knows you cannot cancel warm tones in darker hair with purple/blue

Review by rebec75: I have light/medium ash brown hair and have been using the same level ash permanent color but I would always get a warm/orange tinge about 2-3 weeks after coloring. My stylist recommended adding UnRed to the ash base to make it "more ashy". I did not notice a tonal difference for the first week or so, but after two weeks I noticed the warm/orange tones have not returned, my color stays true ash until next coloring. So far I have used UnRed with Miss Clairol and Ion Color Brilliance with excellent results. I will not color my hair without it!

Review by mashafromrussia: This stuff is amazing! My hair pulls red very easily. I color my hair with Revlon Very Light Ash Blonde. Even though it is an ash color, I still get red tones. I bought this at Sally's for a dollar something and put it into my developer bottle and amazing.....no red tones! Now I don't have to wash my hair with shimmerlights every other day to achieve a cool blonde tone. Try this if your hair pulls red and you'll be amazed!! I will never color my hair without this again. Be warned of the deep purple color....scary but no worries :) You'll love the result.
