3 best sunscreen ,let's see how good they really are!

Coppertone Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple, Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50

Review by runty: I bought this sunscreen due to it's high % of zinc oxide and cost/size. It goes on really nice with little to no whitening effect.
Only to later learn that nano sized zinc oxide (aprox. 20-50nm in particle size), while offering tremendous UVB protection, does not provide good protection in the long UVA wavelength (360-400nm). This is something you will not readily read on the internet and that the many makers of nano zinc oxide would like you to not know about. The info. is out there. Due your research and don't just take my word. I have found one with Z-Cote zinc oxide (20% micronized) that I really love now. Company is called PurplePrairie.

Review by liselise1: I love this! It has a pretty high zinc oxide level,14.5% I believe, and it does help prevent my hyperpigmentation just fine. I actually use it on my face only and it has not caused any breakouts or clogged skin. It does go on white but it fades. I love that it does not interfere with my foundation like avobenzene suncreens. Most of all I LOVE that it is easily available and cheap. Previously I was using Shiseido's Ultimate Sun protection but I was having a hard time finding it. Turns out this is working just as well if not bettter at a quarter of the price. Great value!

Review by redheadjane: No freckles with this, I promise. On my dry skin, this is a miracle worker.

Lancome Soleil DNA Guard SPF 50

Review by AutumnBliss: This is the best facial sunscreen that I've found - and I've tried loads, as I use suncreen every day.
The texture is lightweight and fluid, and my skin absorbs it very well. I use it on bare skin every morning and follow it up with a dusting of powder - at it pretty much stays matte all day. I have oily skin, so don't need to use an additional moisuriser at all, and I haven't had any breakouts from it.
I like that it is full of anti-oxidants too.
Not only is it spf 50, but I emailed Lancome, and they confirmed that it has a ppd of 19.6 - so you have very high UVA and UVB protection.
It comes in a small bottle - perfect for carrying around in a handbag.

Review by CherryBlossom03: I gave 3 stars to this product just because it does make my face shine! I said I would buy it again since I have not found a better one with the same high SPF but less greasy :( I tried La Roche-Posay and Seiseido, but they all made my face look as if I applied lots of olive oil instead.
The only one I loved is Cellex-C SPF 30+ (great under foundation!) but it's not enough for me in summer as I burn easily. So I'm looking for the same texture as Cellex-C but with higher SPF...

Review by Elixir: I love this stuff! I have some scars on my face from an accident, they are hardly visible normally but I have to make sure they don't burn or else they will be. That's why I've been trying all sorts of facial sunscreen with a high SPF and this one is by far my favourite. All the others I tried left a white residue on my face and made it look greasy. This one has a very light formula that is absolutely invisible on my skin. It doesn't make my face shiney at all and I haven't had any breakouts from it. It works great under make-up aswell, although I do find myself skipping my moisturizer when I use this. I haven't burnt my face once since I used it, even when I applied it only in the morning under my make-up and then spent the whole day in the hot Caribbean sun. I am impressed. It is a little expensive but definately worth it. I will repurchase.
Edit: ARGH I can't find it anymore! ):

Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby

Review by bastet: I originally bought this to use on my arms when I walk on the beach at my lunchtime, but it didn't spread well enough, was kind of thick. I decided to use it on my face while I was doing my yard work, and somehow it spread beautifully on my face and did not accentuate my huge pores. I have very ruddy skin, and it really toned me down and gave my skin a smooth look. It is waterproof, and my makeup sticks to it even when I'm perspiring in the heat.

Review by Loriwong: This is HG!!! I've tried a lot of different sunscreens. I have had crazy breakouts since I turned 31. My skin couldn't be anymore sensitive and this doesn't break me out. I love this under my studiofinish powder. It's so great I even wear it in the evenings, It's the perfect primer. It definitely minimizes my large pores. At first I think I applied too much. I found it's best for me if I put a dime or even smaller in the palm of my hand and rub my hands together and then apply to my face and neck. I'm so happy I found this. I love it!!

Review by aguskl: I used this on my arms feet and legs, and I was glowing Avatar blue!
